Years ago a friend of a friend asked me to paint some Gustav Klimt Paintings for her home. Being intimidated by the request I thought it would be a great personal challenge to explore the work of an artist I'd long admired. Through painting these works I gained a renewed respect for the incredibly innovative work he imagined so long ago. I especially enjoyed painting the intricate patterns and working with the metallic finishes his work is so well known for.
